House of Night Series to Be Adapted

Exciting news!  The House of Night Series books by P.C. Cast & Kristen cast, a vampire teen vampire series, had its film rights acquired by film producer Samuel Hadid and his production company, Davis Films.  Hadid released this statement:  “We are thrilled to bring P.C.’s and Kristin’s stunning series of books to worldwide film audiences.  They have created a world of adolescent growth against a backdrop of supernatural suspense that resonates around the world with young readers immersed in Twilight and Harry Potter.  House of Night connects on a profound level – what growing up means today.”

So who would you cast as Zoey Redbird???

First Image of Warm Bodies

This is the first promo image of the new movie Warm Bodies, that is being shopped at the American Film Market currently for international rights.  This is a book to movie make on a young adult novel by Jonathan Levine about a zombie who falls in love with a girl after eating her boyfriend’s brains.  Think Twilight for the zombie genre.  The movie stars Nicholas Hunt who plays zombie “R” and Teresa Palmer who plays R’s love interest, Julie.  Release date is 2012.  The book was a great read so I’m definitely looking forward to this movie.
